Adam Parish Scottish crime thriller author

Adam Parish was born in Stirling Scotland and has had a long and varied career in business, from selling sportswear to building power stations. Adam has worked all over Britain and many of these locations can be found in his books.

Adam has been writing for years as a hobby, and took the decision to go full time in 2020. The first of the books in the Jack Edwards & Amanda Barratt thriller series are available now on Amazon. Adam is currently working on future releases in the series, you can sign up to Adam’s mailing list for updates.

The Jack Edwards and Amanda Barratt murder mystery thrillers are set in the Highlands of Scotland, London and all over the UK. The pair are thrown together in the Quartermaster after a series of tragedies. Amanda’s a high flying professional and she’s been known to break the rules from time to time, if it’s a good enough cause. Jack’s a bit more conventional but he trusts Amanda, and he likes her (and maybe a bit more). Join them on a fast-paced series of thrilling adventures.

Adam has a wide range of interests which include, football, golf, bridge, chess, politics, history and art, some of which you might find featured in his books. Adam admits to being an avid reader and was brought up on the detective mystery stories from the golden age; Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh and Dorothy L. Sayers, as well as Raymond Chandler.
